Professions

When it comes to choosing what your character does, both their background, class, subclass, and overall abilities are based on what type of profession they have. Professions do not impact a character's determined way of play, the main abilities and the way a character fights are all up to describing them and laying them out in their character sheets.   But what professions does grant characters are so-called Advantage Proficiencies. Certain characters are simply better at some things than others, but this does not mean that, for example, a spellcaster can only cast spells and not use a sword. It simply means that if it were to come to a barebones swordfight, a warrior would have the advantage in that fight.
