Military action

The armies of a new goddess of War and Ambition, Voyshka, press into the golden cities; their victory near assured. But after five years of war, nature itself rejected their victory.

Just a few years prior the Golden Cities had been at their Zenith; untouchable and prosperous, surrounded as they were by a cordon of mountains. But from the southwest have come the Legions of Voyshka, a new goddess of warfare and ambition, whose Avatar had chosen the Golden Cities as his new seat. For five years armies of unprecedented size slowly fought their way to the Cities, like Ghearas, and their success would have been assured had it not been for Rapture.
