Plip
A small island extension of CarBar, this geographical marvel was designed to unify land and water-dwelling Fluxers. This miniature land mass is famous for its gravity-defying waterways and low number of mages.
Demographics
Seeing as how this island is designed to accommodate both water- and land-base creatures, it would naturally become a place with a wide variety of inhabitants. However, the vast majority of marine Fluxers don't really care for surface world inhabitants, so the ones who live in Plip actually represent a minority. Because of this, Plip is filled with mild-mannered and open-minded beings who very much enjoy the diversity of their home.
Defences
Despite being next to the great island of greedy merchants and mischievous sailors, Plip has no need for defenses. CarBar protects them (and their alcohol), so no Fluxer in his/her/its right mind would move against this government, which is very strict on crimes involving money.
Infrastructure
Plip is actually CarBar's main producer of alcoholic beverages, but this trade began long before the island was re-purposed to support a town.
Guilds and Factions
The Mage Association has little to no influence here because mages are stereotypically prone to drowning. There are, however, a few small gatherings of the Chazra and Parapoptsi who bicker incessantly over who is following the "will of Chazos".
History
When the world-famous adventurer Gurp left a few sailors behind, some of them moved out to Plip. Because the island was so small, they soon grew bored and began producing various alcohols from the local fruits, which turned out to be fantastic. By the time CarBar was established, this business had become a national treasure.
