In a time between Time
The lights are fading one by one. Through the window, the vast emptiness of space never deserved this description better. A couple stars, here and there, and an otherwise pitch black background. The sensors are going crazy, raising alarm after alarm. We're not better, two crewmembers became frantic so we cuffed them to the hold, and I don't know how many have gone mad but still pretend all is fine. The captain is no better. She's lost it, clearly, driven mad by the guilt. It's not like we could have avoided these gravity wells, and we seemed alright after emerging on the other side. Except, I think we may never have emerged at all.
