Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
When the triplets were born the Seedling took on her mother's name in her last name, and the brothers took their fathers, starting a naming tradition of daughters taking their mothers name and sons taking the fathers.
Relationship Ideals
Mersims prioritize the devotion ceremony and consider it the highest achievement in a sims life.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
After the three divine babies were born, Stōne o' Fēish longed for the Waters, and wanted to raise his sons there. He wanted to construct his own Haus where he could raise his sons and take care of his own scaly needs.
This starts a tradition for the first sims, the Monks would be in charge of caring for the children, and the Mother traveled with Stōne to establish his new territory, where he could "spread the seed" aka their religious propaganda and establish their family line and their place in the budding society. This creates a culture where fathers or monks take on the responsibility of child-care and tending to the home, and mothers are focused on contributing to society and their work.
History
The Mother gave birth to triplets - the Seedling from whom all of simanity would Sprout and her two brothers, creating a direct line between the mersims and the Mother of Simanity, as their father and her devoted partner was Stōne o' Fēish, also the first mersim to emerge from the Waters.
Their birth also solidified the belief that the Mother was a God to the first sims, and a group called the Monks of Devotion began to care for the little babies.
Historical Figures
