Upon Selection the chosen dragon begins growing into a greater dragon. No known records say how long this stage is.
Ecology and Habitats
Greater Dragons dwell within the Elemental Planes unless called to the Prime Material Plan to work on behalf their deity.
Behaviour
Greater Dragons all possess an intelligence Superior to the vast majority of mortals. When they deal with mortals they do so from a position of intellectual and positional superiority. Some seem to like mortals and others do not. None will allow a mortal to go against the Deity the represent in their presence. Most seem to appreciate courtesy and will at least listen to the respectful.

History
Upon Therador's creation the elemental Deities created the Original species. First among them was Dragons. Divided into Metalic and chromatic these first dragons were the rulers of Therador in the first days. From these first dragons the Elemental Deities chose one each to become the Greater Dragon that would represent them in the mortal world.
