House the Gnomes is a charity organization dedicated to open the human hearts and homes to the Gnomes and their plight to defend homeliness.
When a Gnome has noticed a home reeking of homeliness, the household now gets a visit or a letter from the Organization with an explanation and a plea for the home to take in a Gnome. Upon arrival, the Gnome will usually negotiate a contract to clear rules and boundaries.
While the campaign is well known for its television spot, it proves hard to sway the human masses.

Structure
House the Gnomes is made and run by Gnomes, following their clear vision. Every country is lead mostly autonomously by a board of hardworking, dedicated Household Fey.
Culture
Household Fey such as the scandinavian Nisse or the german Kobold sense the feeling or mood of homeliness from far away. They thrive on that aura, and in return ward off less wanted Fey. A thus unguarded home is an affront to them that they actively seek to mend.
While they historically just moved in and lived invisible to the humans, the Unravelling has made their presence known to man, forcing them to ask for permission to live in a human home, leading to them making and promoting this organization to inform and sway the humans to support their cause.

History
House the Gnomes is a young organization. The need for it only became apparent after the Unravelling and the reveal of the Gnomes’ existence.
