Tangled Steppes
The Tangled Steppes are extensive lands where Woodworms twists across the landscape for uncountable miles, forming vast terrains of tangled, rootlike material that seems to wear away anything beneath it, seemingly always keeping it damp. Creatures such as Tanglehoppers, Striders and Barkpeelers and other strange lifeforms that seem to be immune to the toxins the Woodworms live in the twisting coils of the Tangled Steppes, creating burrows or nests by either either manipulating the young shoots. The Tangled steps are known to weave themselves into thick mats that cover over rivers, canyons and other geographical forms.
Many small insect and rodent analogues live within the Tangled Steppes, including the Wormspider, the Wormchewer and the Imposter Worm.
