The Marble clans
"Few people are as stubborn, as proud and as tough as the dwarvish kin. What they lack in vertical height they more than make up for in cunning, strength and skill. The dwarven cultures differ quite drastically as they are very geographically distanced and have very little in the ways of cultural exchange. Despite this there are some fundamental parts of dwarven culture that resonates through all the different clans and dwellings, leading some to believe that all dwarven tribes stem from one ancient and vast dwarven empire. An empire now long forgotten."
The children of the mountain and the strong creatures of Turon the creator. In their great fortresses and mountain halls to the east lives the Stone dwarves. Known for being ingenious workers of stone and metal, fearsome warriors clad in rune embellished plate armour and unparalleled miners the “Stone dwarves” have a reputation to be proud of. And they know it. Not known for being bashful the dwarves of the east can sometimes come across as arrogant or boastful. Yet their craftsmanship and their battle prowess does speak for itself. Their lives are built around their work, whether it be forging blades, carving runes or brewing strong liquor their goal is always perfection, knowing that their work will reflect upon them and their family's reputation. Their strong bodies are made for tunneling and the strongest among them are rumoured to be able to crush mountain walls with their bare hands. Marble dwarves are short but not by any means small. What they lack in height they make up for in width and compact mass. Broad shouldered and muscular and with thick beards. With age their hair, beard and even skin greys and slowly they come to more and more resemble the rocks they surround themselves with.
