Moonborn

Mystical and mythical. Few people in the known world have so many histories and rumours about them as the daughters and sons of Astra. An uncommon sight in the western kingdoms, painted as demons that steal children in the night by the anturians, and eyes able to instill fear in even the most brave of adventurers, it is only natural that the “Moon elves'' feature as the evil antagonists in many children's stories. Moonborn are shorter than their relatives in the west (Redwood elves). They have pale skin that sometimes seem to shine or glitter in direct sun- or moonlight. Their pale eyes usually have a light blue or purple iris that give of a soft light in the dark. Hair color differs widely and it's not uncommon for them to dye their hair before adorning it with silver and moonstone jewelry. Tattoos of celestial motifs and signs are a common cultural practice. These also vary in color as the elves have mastered the art of producing and mixing pigments.
