Highlander
The highlanders are known for their inspiring courage and strength. In the days of the Sirian empires expansion the “barbaric tribes of the north” managed to fight back the sirian armies, time after time. Far from barbaric the highland nation consists of several clans and families following a high chief, democratically elected to represent the will of the highlanders in both domestic and international trade and disputes. The clan names, stories and heirlooms are zealously passed down from generation to generation making the highland culture rich with ancient traditions and folklore. The people of the highlands are strong both in will and body and will seldomly let themselves be pushed around or bullied. Yet their clan upbringing often keeps them from being bullies themselves. The highlanders have a keen eye for good leadership and will loyally follow one worthy of their trust. And just as surely they will exile those who betray them, to the unforgiving wilderness of the roaring hills.
