Ohar; The Golden Guardian
God of Justice
"By his guiding light, we were saved. Once forgotten to the darkness of Kane's deceit, we found redemption through The Golden Warrior. By his strength do we name ourselves Strordian. By his order we shall restore our lost honor."
About
Ohar; The Golden Guardian of a land lost and forgotten. A symbol of strength and perseverance, Ohar reminds mortals of the weight of war and sacrifice. At the heart of his teachings he offers the creed of the guardian. Known as the commander of wars, the protector of the innocent, and the savior of the Strordian dwarves; Ohar has bolstered his faithful with his presence for centuries. Devout in his convictions, even as a divine, Ohar is known for both mercy and pure wrath. Seen in golden armor with a warhammer in hand, The Golden Guardian stands behind all those who seek justice, peace, and order. Many call to him for righteous victory and find themselves blessed with the knowledge of the path they must blaze to succeed.Description
As the years have faded the memories of the first born nations, so too has the true face of Ohar eroded away from history. The only consistent depiction that continues to today is the distinct golden helm and armor that shines the light exuding from his very form. In more somber depictions a cloak of crimson falls from his shoulders in honor of those who have lost their life in righteous combat. Throughout the worshippers of Ohar certain features are accepted as truth but unconfirmed. Even during his physical presence on the surface of Tenegrim, the golden helm of Ohar is what his followers recall. Due to the belief that his blonde hair and beard are true to the history they have, most depictions of The Golden Guardian steer towards either one of the first humans or one of the last Golden Dwarves.Origin Story
The stories of Ohar vary depending on the region. Though they do not agree on his exact origin, the acceptance that he has been around since the first age is undisputed. A longtime lover to the second born daughter of Myria; Nairavaiya, Ohar spent his years both in service to the families of Ilira and journeying with his beloved. In his mortal time, he was a standing commander over the units of soldiers protecting the border of Ilira. There is also a popular theory that he served alongside his brother Dhorim up until the betrayal of the dwarves. Loyal and devoted near to a fault, he would find his mortal life cut short during the uprising of the Aljani. Swarmed and outnumbered by friend and foe alike, Ohar would buy the mages precious time to enact a spell to spare the doomed Iliri from the incoming swarms of demons, Demari, and traitors. Falling to the final blow of the blade wielded by the Bride of Kane, his death would spark the fury of his beloved and see to the mortal death of The Bride. Risen by Myria; The Mother into divinity, Ohar would join his beloved huntress in the continued war to restore peace and order throughout Tenegrim.Relationships
Sympathetic to the plight of the oppressed, Ohar would answer the quiet prayers of the lost hearts of the Strordian dwarves. Leading them from their land to the safety of the Ohari Mountains, The Golden Guardian would offer prophecy and visions alike to guide his followers to triumph. Despite that he is focused on the Strordian dwarves, Ohar is worshiped and seen within the lands of the elves and even called upon by the righteous of the humans for favor in combat and justice. As in life, in divinity Ohar is the closest to his former mortal mate Nairavaiya and his current Consort; Seldrana; The Mother of Strord. He continues to work alongside Myria and Aithar as well. Though the loyalty is still engrained in The Golden Guardian, he has spent his time working alongside or against multitudes of Gods, Saints, and Heroes alike to ensure that justice prevails throughout the land.Religion

Stationed around the world, the clergy of the Guardian do their best to bring justice, order, and peace to their individual regions. Bound by honor and driven by devotion, it is expected that every mortal of the Order seek out injustices to battle. Along with being keepers of the peace, many of the holy men and women will find purpose in divine oaths. Paladins and warriors of Ohar are seen as messengers of their divine commander.Temples
Fortresses of gold and ivory, the temples built to Ohar tend to serve a purpose beyond a symbol of his divine influence. With a well-stocked armory, a training facility, and more than likely doubling as a guard station; the temples of Ohar bring a protective presence to the people. A refuge for the downtrodden, the temples are well equipped to help those fleeing enslavement, war, and oppression. Well-lit even in the darkest of nights, the beacon of hope that Ohar's temples offer has given many a war-torn hero a new beginning.Worship
For those that simply worship the Golden Guardian, they can do so by taking part in the justice system, protecting others, or making contributions to the local guard. Rites and rituals differ slightly depending on the regional influence, but all focus on the concept that Ohar is the light of justice and order. Offerings tend to be trophies from victory, weapons or armor, and stories of justice. The prayers to Ohar take place at dawn, the sun a sign of a new day and the shining example that Ohar offers to his followers. Due to the intertwined relationship with Nairavaiya, many of Ohar's worshipers give offerings to her as well.Symbol
