The Chaos that ensued after the Holy Cleansing

The chaos that ensued after the Holy Cleansing, but before the formation of The Kingdom. It is considered religiously by the Kingdom as the ash from which the phoenix of The Kingdom was birthed, or the celestial chaos from which the Earth was formed. It was a lawless and chaotic time, according to the Kingdom, which had no government or protection, and raiding and pillaging were all that occurred. Some claim that in fact there were some attempts at governance which the Kingdom forcibly incorporated into itself, but this is considered heresy.
