Ava Reigh

During the events of Session I: Escape From Death House! Ava Reigh scaled the side of the house and encouraged the rest of the party to join her on the third-floor balcony. She investigated the nursery and discovered blood-red runes, a severed finger, and strange, flesh-like tumors. In the main suite, Ava found a letter addressed to Lady Lovina Wachter in the cloakroom. After the battle with the Flesh Mound, Ava retrieved Walter's body, triggering the appearance of Elisabeth Durst's vengeful spirit. She participated in the chaotic battle against the shadows and helped the party break free from the house.   During the events of Session II: Welcome to Barovia Village Ava followed the raven to the Blood on the Vine Tavern and provided information to Ismark Kolyanovich about the young man's body and the horses. She also noted the swarms of bats after waking from the shared dream.   During the events of Session III: Interview with a Vampire Ava Reigh inquired further about Doru, Vampire Spawn, and his background, and offered to help Father Donavich deal with Doru. In the undercroft, Ava confided in Doru that she is also a vampire and coached him through controlling his vampiric urges. She was involved in the conversation with Ireena Kolyana when she revealed that Strahd von Zarovich had been feeding on her and reassured her that the group would guide her safely to Vallaki.   During the events of Session IV: Here Enters the Dark Prince Ava Reigh was greeted by Strahd, who recognized her as his niece and revealed that her father was Hahr Reigh, sometimes known as Leo Dilisnya. She produced the ring containing Elisabeth Durst’s soul, which Strahd destroyed. Ava was referred to as "The Monster" by Madam Eva and participated in the conversation about silver dragons with Aurora. She was also involved in the group’s interactions with Strahd and Madam Eva, as well as the encounter with the revenant at Tser Falls.   During the events of Session VI: Hunt for St. Andral's Bones Ava attended dinner at the Blue Water Inn, mingling with patrons. She escorted the drunk Wachter brothers home, secretly feeding on Karl Wachter before returning to the inn. The next morning, Ava accompanied the group to St. Andral's Church, where she made a connection with Henrik van der Voort. After learning of the stolen bones, Ava convinced Henrik to take her out for a drink, where she later knocked him out after receiving a warning from Aurora about an attack. Ava returned to the coffin maker’s shop, fought against Volenta Popofsky and the vampire spawns, and fled the sanctified church grounds with Magnus due to her undead nature. The session ended with Ava and Magnus heading to the toy store.   During the events of Session VII: Baptism by Fire Ava Reigh and Magnus visited Blinsky Toys, where they met Gadof Blinsky and his pet monkey, Piccolo. They purchased toys for Arabelle and then returned to the Blue Water Inn. Ava was part of the group that received the letter from Fiona Wachter and attended the tea meeting at Wachterhaus. During the battle at the Burgomaster's Mansion, Ava climbed up the side of the house to search for Ireena Kolyana, participating in the fight against Izek Strazni. She survived the battle.   During the events of Session VIII: The Wachter's of Wachterhaus Ava Reigh reentered the Burgomaster’s Mansion, found Ireena Kolyana locked in Izek's room, and freed her before escaping the burning building. Later, Ava was present when the group met Mara Özkan and Hemlock Heavyhide and when they transported the bodies of their fallen comrades to St. Andral's Church. Ava accompanied the group to Wachterhaus to report their success to Fiona Wachter. The next day, Ava spoke with Arabelle and Dr. Rudolph van Richten before heading to the Town Square to witness Victor Vallakovich abdicate his title to Fiona Wachter. She then joined the group in investigating Stella Wachter's illness and eventually traveled with the group to Old Bonegrinder to confront Morgantha, where the session ended.   During the events of Session IX: Battle at Old Bonegrinder Ava Reigh fought in the battle against Morgantha and her daughters. After the battle, she witnessed the events involving Madame Brunehilde Mirehook and helped clear out the Old Bonegrinder, finding the missing children. Ava used the hag’s heartstone to planeshift with the group into the Ethereal Plane. Once in the Ethereal Plane, Ava immediately recognized the humanoid holding Stella’s spirit as her father, Hahr Reigh, and attacked him.
