Ziven Madi
Originally member of a crew from the Stars Our Destination scum fleet, Madi was a well known quantity throughout not just her ship, but through the entire crew. She was fiercely loyal to her ship, and stayed even when they fell on hard times; they were exiled for not sharing fuel with other ships. That was just the first of the Captain's missteps. He tried to turn it around by heading to Eridani- there were new fleets there that they could get a fresh start with, but he didn't plan for the fact that pirates were more prevalent in the new system. They were mauled by space pirates, narrowly winning, but the crew had enough. In the wake of the mutiny, the new captain took them further outsystem to lick their wounds.
Putting in to Prospect for repairs, for some reason, many decided to stay, including Madi, when her ship left. They are still active in the area building a new fleet, and come back to the station from time to time. It's one of the reasons the pirates in the area are cautious of the station. Some speculate that this is why Madi is in the position she's in, but she hasn't indicated one way or the other. The entertainment is cleaner, the casualties lesser, and the profits roll in, so no matter the reason, she's been better than the alternatives.
Though she does show preference to her own club, the Bang Bang, she knows that it's a fine line, even though she has been given management rights of the permits and registrations, she does so with a pretty even hand, and only as much graft as is expected. She does take hard line to keep the wolves at bay, though knows that prolonged war with those that are resistant to her rule wouldn't benefit anyone, so deals even with her rivals fairly.
