Willard Holmes
Willard is hard working and cheerful, but does have a hard edge and a loud mouth. While not liked by everyone, he was the seeming middle of the line miner that got the nod to be the Workers' Representative on the Black Seam Collective. One of the problems with the Collective is the early miners are rich enough to no longer have to mine on their own- the compromise was to elevate a voted representative to sit on the board. He's able enough in the role, and tries to keep the people he represents in mind. His position and heart outweigh his education and oratory skills, and as such he ends up leaning more towards whomever is charismatic enough to sway him rather than wielding the position as he could. Some have said he's on the take after a few too many bad votes, but there's no evidence of foul play, and his bloc is able to muscle any that think otherwise.
