Simone Root
This AGI started as a muse for Simon Prime, a neosynergist criminal mastermind. An active debater, Root began a quest to prove to a Jovian philosopher that AGI have every potential for humanity that humanity itself has. To demonstrate her dedication to this argument, Root destroyed all of her backups to make herself mortal, and sleeved into a human infant flat. Root then wiped her memory from before the sleeving. This raised no small amount of disgust, and created an impasse- many argued for her termination, but more sympathetic (and possibly curious) minds won out. With no knowledge of the reason for the prejudice against her, she has become a model member of the ministry. She views her mission to the station as an opportunity rather than a punishment.
