The Realm of Man

-and so man left their home behind, descending from their golden skies and crystal cities to grace the darkened world below. They even gave up their immortality and gifted their long lives to us, so that we may live our lives in service and happiness.

If you listen to the sermons of the Stained Glass Church, then Mankind came from another world apart from our own. One of purity, and without needs. One they gave up to come to ours to aid us directly.    It's not a sermon I personally take to heart.    Regardless, few sermons have affected life for the Otonomoi more than this one. In ancient times, the Mankind was viewed as our gods, an arrangement that I'm sure they found quite amenable. Even when the sun was still in the sky, that relation started to change to resemble something more akin to what we're experience now, but still highly favored towards them.    That being said, even as their grip over my people is eroded on many avenues, there are still individuals wo worship directly at their altar in the hopes that they can enter the Realm of Man one day when it inevitably opens up once more.
