General History of the World

The world's history is divided up into 4 sections  

The Age of Chaos

  Also known as the prehistoric era, the time before any advanced civilizations existed. Scholars are not sure about the age of the world, but all they know is that this era was long and dominated by greater beings such as Gods, Primordials and the Titans.  

The First Age

This time period marks the creation of the first civilizations, such as the one created by the Primal elves in addition to others. In addition this period contains important discoveries of humanity such as the cultivation of crops and the taming of the firsts beasts. On the fantastical side this age contains the starting point of mortal uses of magic. The first types of magics used by mortals was divine magic which was granted to be the most devote followers of powerful gods. Closely followed by this was druidic magic which comes from the power of nature itself. The only arcane magic wielded during this age was that of innate character, and it was extremely primal.   During the advancements of humanoids the rest of the world didn't lay rest. The end of second age was filled was conflicted between powerful ancient races. Such as the war between the Kingdom of Giants and the Empire of Dragons. The war lasted for thousands of years and lay ruin to a great number of monuments, such as the great giant cities of old. One of the remnants of this war is the draconic wastelands (see Vallaheim ).

The Second Age

The second age was started essentially started by two things. The first is the founding of the first of human kingdom, the second being the discovery of arcane magic. This age was one of both prosperous and great nations but also of disastrous wars. During the first hundreds of years of this age the Val'aar High Kingdom was founded. This age also contained a lot of other kingdoms of elves, dwarves and even humans. During the first half of this age most dragons lay dormant and were breeding after loosing large portions of their species to the war with the giants. However towards the end of the second age they renewed the empire of dragons
