Fireblood Flower

Harvested from a rare plant found in Kalava'khir, the red petals of the Fireblood Flower are inherently toxic. If the petals make contact with the skin, they cause intense, painful irritation and itching. If ingested however, within a few hours the victim will feel as if their blood is boiling, with little exaggeration. The pain can be so intense that it drives the afflicted to commit suicide as a last resort to escape the pain.   The Fireblood Flower is a small, short flower, and harvesting it is no easy task as it is most commonly located along the cliffsides of canyons in Kalava'khir, far out into the Sandsea. Given that it grows in such precarious location, the fact that contact with the plant can be shockingly painful compounds upon the danger of acquiring it: Failing to harvest the plant carefully risks coming in contact with the painful effects of its petals, and the resulting shock of pain can be enough to send the would-be harvester plummetting to their death.
