Lesser Ward
A shimmering barrier of magical force appears and moves with you, shielding you from harm. Until the start of your next turn, you gain a +5 bonus to AC, including against the triggering attack.
In addition, you take no damage from spells that directly target you if the caster is more than 5 feet away and the spell’s level does not exceed the level at which you cast lesser ward. This protection does not block effects that charm or frighten you, nor does it prevent area of effect damage.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the maximum level of spells you can block increases accordingly, up to 5th level.
