First Mate Valpin
First Mate Valpin is an Imperial vampire who serves aboard the Dainty Sload as Captain Hargar Blackblood's second in command of the Blackblood Marauders. He shares none of his captain's idealism about the life of a pirate, being of a much more vicous type. However he does respect Captain Blackblood personally for treating him as an equal within the Marauder's ranks. He is also very good at keeping the often unruly band of pirates in line, being an often cruel and most definately intimidating commander.
Quotes:

"I run a tight ship here. I've little time for useless talk with the likes of you. Unless you'd like to offer me a drop of blood or two."
"The captain is a great man but I'll confess I feel a little.. constrained. We should be taking the stragglers for everything they have. Every last drop."
"The Grotto is my home thanks to the captain. Here I can wear my own face without pitchfork wielding peasants making things difficult."
"Breathing men have the unsavoury habit of growing sentimental in their old age. I share no such weaknesses. So watch your step stranger."
"That last ship. Full of refugees. The captain didn't take a single septim from them. We should be taking everything we can now. While the prey is still warm."
"The next drunken fool I find not at thier post is getting flogged within an inch of thier life. If I'm feeling generous."
