Captain Aldepius

Aldepius is an Imperial soldier found at Dragon Bridge. He is captain of the guard with the prevoius captain having apparently commited suicide by jumping from the Dragon Bridge. In fact his real name is Peladius and he is a former member of the Crimson Dirks bandit gang, who murdered the former captain to conceal his identity. Years have passed since then though and Aldepius has become a captain himself, having now fully abandoned his previous life and become loyal to the town. He regrets his prevoius misdeeds but will fight to maintain his postion and reputation if challenged.   Quotes:

Aldepius wears a set of Solitude guard armor, as well as a pair of Imperial bracers and boots. He wields a long bow and Iron Shortsword of Embers. He also carries steel arrows and a Potion of Plentiful Healing.

Clinking. The Guard has disadvantage on Stealth checks due the the chained nature of thier armour.   Manacles. The Guard is equipped with manacles, when they have a humanoid grappled. They can can use thier action to try to bind them. To do so, they make another grapple check. If they succeed, the target is both incapacitated and restrained until the grapple ends, and will remain incapacitated until the manacles are removed by another creature.
