Bones

Bones is an undead talking Skeleton. Once a wandering bard of the second era, Bones had the misfortune of a chance meeting with the Daedric Prince of Trickery and Bargains; Clavicus Vile. Where the at the time young and unwise bard asked a wish of the Daedric Prince for eternal life. After which he found that he could not truly die but that did not stop his flesh from rotting and falling away. Leaving him at first a zombie then as the centuries passed, merely a walking, talking skeleton. Eventually he found that even his bones being reduced to dust could not release him from Clavicus Vile's 'eternal life' as his spirit would simply attach itself to the nearest intact skeleton the moment he perishes. Sometime around the turn of the third era, Bones went completely mad. Forgetting his true name and old identity entirely, embracing the moniker of Bones and setting about a mad quest to liberate as many fellow skeletons from thier fleshy prisons as he can.   Quotes:

He wears armour scraps, and is equipped with a iron spear, iron shotsword and a tuba. He carries a selection of abundant loot and gold.

Innate Spellcasting. Bone's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 9). He can innately cast the following spells, requiring no spell slots:


Chattering Bones. Unlike a normal Skeleton, Bones is capable of talking. He is in fact. Seemingly incapable of not talking.   Cursed with Undeath. When bones drops to 0 hit points his spirit departs the skeleton form he is currently inhabiting, if there are any skeletons nearby he will inhabit their forms, gaining their current hit points and equipment but keeping his Intelligence, Wisdom and Chrisma stats, personality, spellcasting and legendary action. If their are no skeletons in the immediate area with 1 or more hit points his spirt will leave the area instead, adrift until he finds another skeleton to inhabit.

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.   Iron Spear. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft, thown 20/60, one target. Hit: (1d6) piercing damage, versatile (1d8).

Legendary Actions

Deadpan Humour (1/turn). Bones can cast Vicious Mockery as a legendary action. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Bones regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.
