Barald the Brave

Barald is a Redguard ranger, a member of Cassian's Traveling Circus under the monkier Barald the Brave. He works as a beast tamer, working with his ranger's companion; a lion named Zir. Showing off feats of remarkable mastery over the dangerous beast. Originally from Cyrodill, Barald was a fighter in the Arena of the Imperial City, where he partook in gladatorial fights for the amusment of Imperial citizen's. Barald decided to leave that life behind though, stealing Zir, a pit lion he had befriended in the arena and joining Cassius' circus.   Quotes:

Baraald wears leather armour, a banded iron shield, along with boots and a gold pearl circlet. In battle he wields a scimitar along with a whip and hunting bow. He carries a selection of uncommon loot and gold.

Burdened. When Barald's shield is donned, he has disadvantage on stealth rolls.   Adrenaline Rush. Barald has advantage on initiative rolls. After rolling for initiative, he gains 10 temporary hit points. In combat, his first melee attack deals 9 additional damage.   Defence. While Barald is wearing armour, he gains a +1 bonus to AC.   Land's Stride. Moving through nonmagical difficult terrain costs no extra movement. Additonally has advantage on saving throws against plants that are magically created or manipulated to impede movement.   Arcane Runes. Can enscribe runes onto the ground using an action, these runes can be used as a spellcasting focus within 60 feet.   Ranger's Companion. Has a ranger's companion, can use his bonus action to verbally command it to take the Attack, Dash, Disengage, Dodge, or Help action. On a turn where the beast dosen't attack, Barald can command it without using a bonus action.

Actions

Extra Attack. Barald can make another attack whenever he takes the attack option on his turn.   Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack. +7 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit: 1d6+3 slashing damage.   Whip. Melee Weapon Attack. +7 to hit, reach 10ft, one target. Hit: 1d4+3 slashing damage.   Hunting Bow. Ranged Weapon Attack. +7 to hit, range 80/320, one target. Hit: 1d6+3 piercing damage.
