The Elder Nexus

The world of The Elder Nexus is a vast land that crosses multiple eras with history long forgotten. The world was once inhabited by the Primordial Dragons and the Celestial Dragons until the first gods arrived and in a brutal war, drove the Primordial Dragons to extinction and almost completely wiped out the Celestial Dragons.

Thus began the Era of Darkness, where these gods, known as the Primeval Gods, created the first civilisations and lived alongside the first mortals. This Era would last 5000 years, but only near the end did civilisation truly come, and with it, war.

In the last 1000 years of the Era of Darkness, a Great War erupted known as the Millenium war, a series of conflicts which would scar the land irreparably. Mortals fought among each other, and so did the Gods. This led to the rise of a new pantheon raised from mortals that ascended and dethroned the Primeval Gods.

Now the Age of Gold has arrived, and though the Great War has ended, conflicts and wars are still aplenty, and some places are still recovering centuries later.
