The Ruins of Yllenaserin
Yllenaserin was on its way to becoming a budding political and economic power. While the city was still fresh and young, the elves had built their first magical academy in Awhurg. The city itself was also built around a beautiful orchard that bears fruits that should not be growing in Awhurg's ecosystem. These large, winding oak trees were said to be hundreds of years old and stretch as high as the tallest building. The only way to harvest the fruits were to embark on dangerous climbs up the many trees.
When Skullstomp attacked, they hacked the mighty trees down and turned them into materials. These materials would be worth a lot of money to any survivors of Yllenaserin. The easiest way to tell an elf from Yllenaserin is from the way they dress; be it armour or casual gown and tunic, the chest and belly is always blue while the arms are a bright, sun spotted yellow. Those who've survived wear these colours with pride.
Purpose / Function
Originally, Yllenaserin was intended to be an economic power as well as a home for many elves that come from across Awhurg. It stood as a beautiful addition to the High Elven Council's sprawling empire. It looked great on trade routes and was going to shine in the grand scheme of things.
Nowadays, Yllenaserin was little more than a graveyard and a reminder. A few creatures and animals have claimed the ruins as their home and hunting grounds. Some deadly predators exist only to tear adventurers apart for sport.
Alterations
The buildings have been burnt and decimated. Moss grows in the spaces where the out of control plants haven't already begun to cover. There isn't much resemblance to a city anymore.
