Zariah "Blade" Fenlan
Zariah Fenlan (a.k.a. Blade)
Blade is the leader of the Miennan section of the Silent Shepherds, residing in Ironstar. She is young for a leader, but is well-respected by her fellow Shepherds. Although the general populous does not know a lot about her or even her existence, those that are involved with the Shepherds recognise her under the name Blade.
While there are not many Aasimar in Ironstar, it does not seem that the Silent Shepherds have truly realised that Blade is the sister of Ironstar’s captain of the guard, or at least they don’t voice their suspicions.
Encounters with the Disparates
The Case of Mig Dural
Before the Formidable Disparates left for Mig Dural, they were sent by the Rose to find the Silent Shepherds and handed them a letter to their leader. The Disparates quickly discovered that Blade was in actuality the older sister of Stendar, and was apparently still on good terms with him despite their drastic differences in career choice. She provided them with a contact within Mig Dural, and asked them to find out what had happened to the local branch of Shepherds, since they were no longer responding.Civil War
In preparation for the confrontations between Kesavan and Ironstar’s forces, Blade ran multiple operations to spy on, disrupt, and sabotage the approaching army. Her leadership and training of members of the Shepherds during this time was vital for Ironstar’s win during the battle. After the Battle of Ironstar, Blade continued to lead her branch of the guild, maintaining a balance between supporting war efforts and letting the Shepherds profit monetarily.
