Zahegar

Zahegar is the goddess of the unknown and exploration, a mysterious figure who rarely meddles in worldly affairs, but enjoys observing more than anything. Befitting a goddess of the unknown, not much is known about her, either, but she has still gained a multitude of followers. While some dedicate themselves to the discovery of knowledge by researching or collecting, others explore in her name, attempting to uncover worldly secrets. Some, even, swear to become detectives-for-hire, travelling Syoll and solving crimes.   Next to exploration and unknown knowlede, Zahegar has also been referenced in connection to the unveiling of secrets and the rooting out of betrayal, while other sources claim she is the goddess and protector of secrets. It is assumed that, due to her mysterious nature, many sources and references to her are tampered with or manipulated to suit the author’s ideology or image.   Zahegar’s holy symbol is depicted as a dark (usually blue or black) semi-circle dotted with countless stars. It is common to see brooches or other types of jewellery with this pattern, often with a dark material into which a multitude of holes have been made. Sometimes, the semi-circle is forgone and instead an entire piece of clothing is decorated with many tiny stars in honour of Zahegar.   While the many faithful honour Zahegar in a variety of ways, the few truly devout followers like to travel, attempting to discover new things, exploring the unknown and shrouding themselves with mystery. The most extreme followers even wear a dark blue masks covered with tiny white stars in order to hide their own identities.
