Vettfjall

Vettfjall is a small town at the foot of the Neverending Mountains, not far from Zheford. It is partially under the surface of the mountains, which is why it has the reputation for being a stuffy and smelly town. Regardless, the population remains steady, and the low abundance of fresh air in certain districts does not seem to bother many of the locals.  

People and Culture

The importance of collaboration is a core value to Vettfjallans, more so than in any other part of Amridge. This attitude often becomes apparent whenever Vettfjall suffers one of its semi-regular collapses in the inner parts of the town. In such cases, anyone who is available will volunteer to clear the rubble and search for survivors, and often others will close their shops so they might help too.  

Industry and Trade

Vettfjall's specialty lies in chemical and transfigurational experimentation, as well as the careful brewing of potions. Due to Vettfjall's partially subterranean nature, many alchemists and researchers are able to conduct experiments that otherwise might be affected by uncontrolled influences (such as temperature and light). This makes it especially important for the researchers of the Zheford Alchemical School, who often conduct dangerous experiments that require a controlled environment.
