The Pack

The Pack was a gang of smugglers and thugs that mainly resided in the tunnels under Andar. Running operations with pirates or alone, they smuggled drugs and illegal animal parts (or sometimes whole animals) into Miennach by posing as simple traders or tourists travelling along Norgar Lake. From Andar, they would then spread the goods out to inner Miennach, while posing mostly as a simple-minded group of thugs. Each member had a nickname of a canine (or similar) nature, to reflect the gang’s name.

Encounters with the Disparates

During the Formidable Disparates’ visit to Andar, their goblin friend had a nasty run-in with two members of the Pack while trying to find a gift for Blueberry in town. The brutes thought Mudchet a curious little creature, and decided to kidnap him and present him to the group’s leader, referred to as “the Jackal”.   Blueberry, however, saw this happening and ended up tracking them down and saving Mudchet from the clutches of the gang, with some help.

Disbandment

In order to save Mudchet, who had been used as entertainment for the Pack, Blueberry enlisted the help of Quill Whitehair (who was aiming to save his sister, Lilian Whitehair) and Andar’s town guard.   After Quill slipped poison in the Jackal’s mead barrel, he and Blueberry went to find and free Lilian. When they returned, the guard had found the Pack and were in the process of arresting all the members, and the Jackal was dead. This marked the end of the gang and their illicit activities.
