Halfbreeds

The Halfbreed Races is the general term for any offspring that come out of a union of a Human and an Elf, Dwarf, or Gnome. All of these races are closely related and have the same reproductive organs, but only Humans can impregnate or be impregnated by other Humanoid races.   Due to the circumstances of their creation, Halfbreeds have it very bad. Most Halfbreeds do not survive past their 40th year, no matter what their non-Human parent was, and cannot have children of their own. If that were not bad enough, almost all Halfbreeds come out of their mother without a limb, or at the very least, one that is severely damaged. Halfbreeds are often discriminated against due to their parentage and genetic afflictions, not really having a home in either of their parent's lands.   Half-Elves are the children of a Human and an Elf. They average at about 6 feet tall, have tan skin, and are skinny as a rule. Their ears are slightly pointed and their hair is striped with both the darker tones of Humanity and the lighter tones of Elvenkind.   Half-Dwarves are the children of a Human and a Dwarf. They average about 5 feet tall and have tan skin. Half-Dwarves also tend to be fairly stocky and very hairy, but without the large bones or robust build of the Dwarven race, looking far more like an odd Human.   Half-Gnomes are the children of a Human and a Gnome. They average about 4 feet tall and have tan skin. Their ears are slightly pointed and they retain that traditional Gnomic plumpness.
