Session 3

After a good night sleep at the Red Dragon Inn our heroes made their way back to the temple complex, exploiting the hole in the fence they discovered earlier. Here they battled the wisp once more, this time dragging some of the animals from the tar first so the creature could not heal back up. One of the rescued animals was the dog of one of the town's halflings. Defeating the wisp, our duo grabbed as much flowers as they could carry and made there way across the complex towards the front entrance. It was here that they encountered the frogpeople they met before. The hag, who had been watching the whole scene from her stone eye, came out of her lair to confront them. The bullywug's 'leader' learning that his friends have been freed, popped out his eye and threw it in the tar, temporarely blinding the hag, who let out a ghastly scream and disappeared into the nearby woods.   The party used the absence of the hag to investigate her lair, finding a hidden entrance behind a bookcase which led to a basement where a huge cauldron stood. The rest of the lair was littered with all kinds of strange objects, potion ingredients, flasks, drawers full of hair, caged rodents only to name a few. Scattered thoughout the house they found slips of paper, fragments of a dairy, which informed them of the hag's plan. It was clear that the hag was trying to start a coven, having already succeded in acquiring one sister she was working to find the last. On their way out the party found a crate with notices in which a woman offered herself as a midwife, a notice that the party had seen on multiple occasions while inspecting the town's noticeboard.   Our heroes made our way back to the town, delivering the flowers to the apothecary and returning the rescued dog to his owner Chad. The halfling was so pleased to be reunited with his dog that he promised the elf and dragonborn they could both pick out a item from his shop, free of charge...
