Oduroth, the God of Balance and Control

The Iron Crown, The Scale of Kings

Oduroth is a god that embodies all aspects of control of the masses in the realm of Eagrela (for better or for worse) and the orderly balance that is adhered to by societies that flourish. While followers of this god can be seen as benevolent rulers or demonic tyrant, many recognize the latter to be much more prevalent in his followers. Oduroth's grip is said to be tighter than any adamantine shackle and one strike from his flail is enough to force any being into submission. The master of control's presence is so potent that even demons within the Outer Planes are said to feel his constant presence. Mercy is an alien concept to him and is not authorized in his domain. The god is depicted with a humanoid frame that is pale and limber, slender and has a odd sense of sensuality to it. Jet black hair and icy blue orbs pass through all who gaze upon him as he drapes his opposing frame in chained and studded dark leather attire under a royal red opened robe. The being might appear human as first glance but the other senses tell otherwise. An aura of authority and control pools where he walks, black fingernails sweet at first but stench of iron and leather soon after. Just a touch from him can bring any lesser being to the ground and to his bare feet. During conflict, the god wears a mask crown of thick iron that is said to have been crafted from droplets of blood harvested from his flail after confrontation. The god of balance and control is one of the only gods that has demon blood coursing through his veins. Traveling across the Outer Planes of the realm, he has confronted, slain, and consumed many while enslaving those who might be of use to him. From this, his physical manifestation has changed. His back now protrudes a layer of inky, blood red vertebrae while his nail tips and teeth have been sharpened to a bevel. Occasionally, his eyes flash with a hint of malicious evil and torment but quickly recover, almost as if he is purposely doing so.   Oduroth is said to enjoys the sound of wailing but only if implemented by tools of punishment for just reasoning. Rumors abound about the torturous king challenging mortal men and women disguised as a traveler to a challenge of servitude. Those who lose to him (all as of this day) are taken to his domain where they are shackled up to become part of his choir of cries and anguish when he wishes.
