Anika
Anika is a young girl that escaped with her father from Asheria and now aids in breaking wild horses in one of the farmhand positions. A young teenager who dabbles in studies of alchemy for medical purposes, Anika is a cheerful and helpful girl that can chat about nothing in particular for hours on end. She, like many of the teens in the hamlet, take to their jobs during the mornings, tend to their studies in the afternoon, and play around during the evenings. The teen has a bit of a roguish streak to her, sneaking about to indulge her fascination with various new topics.
While Anika is friendly enough, she does not have a lot of people she would consider a friend, at least humanoid ones. Her love for the horses she is responsible for takes up a lot of her time but she does find time to be sociable in the evenings or free days when allowed. When not working or in studies, she can be found riding in the fields or sitting at the base of Maltrud's Lady to read or enjoy a meal.
The young teen means well but can be quite clumsy and does her best to deal with her lack of coordination. Furthermore, the girl is prone to bits of exhaustion she will try to fight through but tend to win out over her. Anika normally wears simplistic white peasantry shirts with a skirt and an off-white sash belt. Draped over her shoulders is a disheveled bluish-green cloak with a copper owl pendant pinning it shut. Thin but patched black tights/leggings drop down to her thick charcoal leather working boots that always are in need of a good scrubbing.

Special abilities
Anika has developed the harness of magic in her blood with limited control over what she is capable of. Thus far, the teen has shown her innate understanding of Cure Wounds but has a limited understanding of Dancing Lights and Mending to entertain and keep up maintenance around the hamlet.
Apparel & Accessories
Around Anika's neck with a simple lace is a small blue glass vial that carries a trivial amount of water. This water is supposedly from her homeland of Asheria from one of the magical hot springs that dot the surroundings. Many refugees and loyalists to the principality carry these simple trinkets proudly. The one in particular that Anika carries possibly belonged to her late mother. When casting spells, Anika used this as a focus as the water begins to shine and swirl from within. This is no longer the case as the vial had been shattered from a ritual and now only the top broken piece remains.

At first, Anika might appear to have a fear or a strong dislike to thunderstorms. This is partially true. What is more accurate is that her past experiences with storms have not been pleasant. The teen has a strong feeling that storms bring misfortune and destruction. For some reason, Anika can recall a dream occasionally where she was fleeing a settlement as a very young child with 'thunder' booming all around her. Quinton assures her that it is but just a nightmare and should not be paid too much mind and she will grow out of it. Despite the reassurance, Anika still holds a strong dislike for thunder.

Anika is proficient in farm implements and land vehicles. She has an interest in medical pursuits but has not been trained in such to be considered proficient.
Likes & Dislikes
- Anika has a young tongue but one that has been cultivated. Savory and spicy are a combination that she cannot turn down and this is no more apparent when spicy cheese bread is on the menu. Easy to make but hard to perfect, Anika has experimented with different ingredients and is always on the hunt for the best type of sandwich.
- The teenager hates to see others bullied around and goes out of her way to make this point. Seeing others talked down to or interrupted when trying to help gets Anika quite upset. Visual signs of this is her face and ears growing red while her voice is raised in a shouting demand to stop. When her tempers wain, she will withdraw and refuse to talk with others, actively keeping her distance.
