A Solitary Haven - Ravaged by Nature

    Nestled deep in the formidable Frozen Wastes, lay a solitary Duchy. Made up of 12 territories, the Duchy is characterised by it's brutal history with, not only itself, but with Nature. The Wastes surrounding the Duchy have been slowly expanding, swallowing more and more land by the year. With no opposition to the frost, a civil war broke out. The current duke - Duke Cornelius II, was presented as too weak, and to be purposely spreading the cold, to weaken his political opponents. The war was victorious in his name, but at what cost?   With Fradris gripped by the recent war, and the ever growing threat of the expanding Wastes, life is in turmoil. With the recent territory of Oplar being almost entirely engulfed by the Frost, large amounts of refugees, from Oplar, have been pouring into the Mainland; creating even more instability within Fradris.   The army weakened, life disrupted, and land being destroyed, The Duchy of Fradris is engulfed in disaster, and its future is uncertain...
