Edros
A Throne Reborn
Once thought of as a country of glory seekers and conquerors, The rebuilt country of Edros has restabilized from a national cataclysm, and a civil war in the last fifty years. Once known for it's political infighting and indecision, Now the empire is better organized under the rule of the Empress, Labiena Acilliana. Finally achieving a longer lasting peace with the tribes of the north in Ulfyre after centuries of war and short tenuos peace, the Empire still maintains a sorted political scene with their eastern neighbors in Melus over land based trade routes to Castion and Eprana. After many centuries of oppression left the elven and half-elven population of Edros in poverty, with the help of several politicians, The Green hand rebellion, and the Nightfall, these once opressed people are now recovering. The Empress has but alot of effort into providing the help, resources, and laws to uplift these peoples to the same level as every otehr citizen of the empire. No longer silenced or politically ostracized, they are now able to make a real change for their situation and the elven population that used to struggle to survive. While holding onto hope has paid for itself in full for them, there are still lingering issues that come from old leadership and systemic values held by the older generations on both sides that casue issues here and there.Edros in the Dreamweaver Isles
Edros has a very small presence in the Isles for now. Most of their efforts and resources have been funneled into the rebuilding and restructuring of the country as a whole after The Nightfall and the War of Succession. Going from a centralized Sovreign system, to a Ducal system with an Empress. This has consumed most of their time for the last fifty years or so, and they are just now becoming stable enough to begin reaching for the new resources and opprotunities that the Dreamweaver Isles has to offer.Geography & Climate
Boasting a very hill filled terrain, large pine forests spread across the land, and many rivers run from the eastern mountains down into the hill strewn valleys and forests.
