Commander Dametis Goldshard
Born in the Dark era, Dametis' life was marked by war and the threat of the Urmsha. Her family worshipped and served the Sheperd of Souls for generations. While her initial life path led her to continue this tradition, her strong sense of duty toward her nation made her enlist in the army as soon as she looked old enough. Stubborn, loyal and with very little patience for fools or cowards, she climbed up the ranks with discipline and unfortunate field promotion. She had the reputation to be cold and distant, her personality described as inexistant, but her soldier knew her to be a fair and capable commander who fought side by side with them. 'Victory at any cost' always meant her own life was included in that cost. Perhaps it was a self fulfilling prophecy then that she died fighting the Urmsha's army during the War of shadows.
