The One Who takes Joy From The Breaking of Halos

"Hatred? What would you know of hatred, Dove? You who have spent your life in succor and delight, in the harmony of your brothers and sisters? I have spent my time as little more than a shadow of a being, running and hiding as your parties march forth to slaughter myself and my people. Running from a war that you began. Yes, I am full of hatred. Yes, I am going to kill you."

Personal history

The Destroyer was created in a time of desperation, as the Lounge of Bastella was being destroyed by rampaging Angels. The demons would turn upon each other, and, seeking power, devour each other. They would consolidate their power into the being that would be the Destroyer. It would carry the memories of all of the fallen demons that devoured each other, and so contained millennia of hatred for the Angels.   The Destroyer would emerge from the corpses and blood, and begin by slaughtering the entire Choir that came to Bastella's Lounge. It was far more powerful than any of the angels, even God of the Choir. It would lead Its fellows on a counterattack on the Angels, following them to Vuender'Fel. It would demand the Favored Son, which Aventus would refuse. It would take glee burning His Garden to ashes even as it was forced by Soluhn to retreat.   After the burning of Vuender'Fel, the Destroyer would take joy in hunting down and killing the most powerful Angels that It could, leading the battles It was in from the front, through sheer might rather than strategic prowess. It would assemble many bands and other devils beneath Its banner, including The One Who Feels The Joy of The Ragged Wound. Despite knowing that It was powerful, It would never openly confront [Soluhn, the Solar Wrath, for fear of Its life.    At the Battle of Molten Stars, the Destroyer would be forced to battle Soluhn, after The One Who Feels The Joy of The Ragged Wound betrayed The Destroyer, and abandoned Its flank. The Destroyer would wound Soluhn deeply but would be cut down. In Its dying moments, Soluhn offered the Destroyer what comfort that He could, but there was not much to be had.
