The Flux Forests

The Flux Forests is the name given to an unknown number of highly interconnected realms where the energetic barriers that normally keep different realms of the Discontinuum separate, are unusually low, allowing for many easy transfers between them and into the wider Discontinuum.   This is a dangerous geometry, neither evolution nor archetype but something more primal. The vast majority of realms within the Flux Forest are uninhabitable, given over to the exchange of vast energies on a scale found nowhere else in the Discontinuum. The ordinary entropic furnaces of stars in all their varieties, and even the great gravitational squeeze of black holes is dwarfed by the cascading collapses of vacuum energy, the flexing of hyperconnected superstrings and the disintegration of temporal loops which can all occur here. Changes in the Flux Forest can propagate outwards, sometimes causing events like the Planar Conformation.   The Stability Council has chosen a nameless realm at the very edge of the Flux Forests to manufacture zero point keys.
