The Ring of Ul Drax (Uil Draks)
Rumored to have been created during the rise of House Naelax in the early 430's CY, this cursed ring has brought nothing but ruin to those who possessed it.
Created by the wizard Kaerl of Rel Astra, once a Royal Astrologer before the conclave was banished by Overking Zelcor, Kaerl chose lichdom as a means to continue his life and research of the arcane. During both his life and un-life, Kaerl created many enchanted items, some of piddling power and some of immense power. The Ring of Ul Drax is one of the latter.
An unassuming signet ring made of silver with a relief-craved ruby in the likeness of a griffon, the Ring of Ul Drax has changed hands many times. From its creator, who wore it during his days as a mortal wizard, to Jaerlus, a son of House Naelax, the last known wielder of the Ring of Ul Drax.
A lengthening of a mortals lifespan. While sages speculate that Kaerl had already used other longevity magics before the Ring gained this effect, it was noted that Xerian of Rel Mord possessed the Ring for nearly twenty years and never seemed to age a day until it was mysteriously taken from him and he seemed to age all at once, dying from old age in moments.
An increase in the wearers commanding presence. (In game terms this is a +4 to the wearers Charisma attribute.)
