The Fane of the Eye
Once a hidden temple of Dumathoin, dwarven god of underground exploration, the Fane of the Eye is the Cult of the Elder Elemental Eye's most sacred place near Oubliette.
Discovered by Targ Malak shortly after his conversion, the temple was hidden and sealed by the dwarven priests to keep it from being defiled, yet defiled it was. Malak defaced the dwarven holy symbols and broke the statuary in the name of the Eye. Once the defiled temple was ready, Malak captured a mountain dwarf miner and sacrificed him upon the altar, making the dwarven holy place an foul sanctuary for his followers.
Consisting of a main worship area and shrine, the fane is dimly lit with faerie aura spells and continual flame braziers in colors less offensive to the eyesight of those who dwell in the underdeeps. There are cells for the cultists who maintain the fane and for pilgrims who make their way here.
