Excellence Award, shortened to the SYNAPSE Award, is a yearly award given to a single entity in a variety of categories. This honour symbolizes a recognition of a company's efforts to attain a high level of service excellence. Whether that be in excellent customer service, product quality, presence as a community leader, or all of the above etc.
Receipt of this award is a badge of honour, and symbolizes integrity and proves that the company is trustworthy and easy to deal with. The SYNPASE Award is decided by a combination of the general public, business clients, customers, and/or business partners. Who all get together to nominate and eventually vote for whatever company they believe have earned that award that particular year.
These awards are given out one per category, for example, there are categories for Interstellar Automotives, Entertainment and Media, Food and Drink, Health and Wellness, Professionals, Professional Services, Restaurants, Shopping, and more. While there are dozens of categories, only one company may win in each category, though that same company may be nominated in and potentially win in multiple categories if applicable.

The Truth about the SYNAPSE Award
In reality, the SYNAPSE Award is a complete scam. It is a primarily purchased award. And while voting and nominations do occur, the ultimate winners are predetermined and purchased well in advance. In the category that does not have a purchased sponsor then that award is legitimately awarded to whoever has the most votes. But this occurrence is rare, and most categories are sold to a sponsor well in advance of the yearly awards nominations deadline.
The companies that are granted this “honour” are typically paying lofty bills for the award, though there have been circumstances where the award has been granted in exchange for a personal or business favour.
Sadly, in the decade or so of its annual awarding, the SYNAPSE Award has never been legitimate. From its inception, it was always intended to be a sham. A purchasable award designed to elevate a company’s status and trick potential customers and clientele into thinking that they are the better option versus their competitors. And most common people fall for it, seeking out the SYNAPSE Award logo on a company website or storefront as a sign that it can be trusted. Even though the award means next to nothing and harbours no indication of the company’s true ability or trustworthiness.
There are, of course, those in the know, business insiders who are in on the scam and don’t care to reveal the secret as it benefits them. And savvy citizens who do their research and dig into a company’s history and dealings before they invest their time and money into it. But this latter group are often not believed when they try and illuminate their friends and colleagues. Often being brushed aside as conspiracy theorists or wet blankets looking to unnecessarily besmirch a seemingly positive award of recognition.
