The old core of the ancient Baythan Empire worshiped the nighttime. This was widely recognized to be antithetical to aspectral worship, especially among the sun worshiping Roythans. But Bayth enjoyed a strong relationship with the enormously powerful Daxish, who respected the Baythans' right to align ancient teaches and ritual.

As fiefdom battles escalated, corrupt and power hungry individuals from all parties played their hands. But Baythan leadership was especially ruthless during this time and during the Massese Independence Wars. Shortly after that major conflict was settled, the Massese lent their new and fearsome power to a coalition of peaceseekers (again, comprised of all other Aspects, Daxhill included). This coalition overwhelmed Bayth in a swift and absolute exile from Heirbrosse.
