Haaloct

Haaloct is a cold, cavernous, barren world in the Lightning Ring. Its surface is dry and frigid and empty, and it has many subsurface tunnels that fill its crust. It is home to the Neblin, an intelligent-but-savage humanoid lifeform, and the Hunters, an invisible meat-eating predator.   Haaloct is harsh, cold, and deadly. Aside from the Neblin and the Hunters, it mostly hosts meat-eating pest species and filter feeders. A species of fungus that grows on corpses is used as the Neblin food crop, and grows in abundance anywhere large numbers of creatures live and die. Haaloct can seem empty and devoid of life due to the small size of its life and the stealthiness of its intelligent species, and its many twisting tunnels can confuse an unprepared explorer.
