Melting Village

The Melting Village is the southernmost known Juru settlement, where average temperatures reach 60 °C. Its extreme heat makes it largely impassable for Settlers, which is why many traditional Juru settled here following the Stranding.

The village is renowned for its hammer forges, producing weapons and tools highly prized throughout the peninsula.

Culture

Despite the harsh climate, the Juru of Melting Village maintain a strongly pacifist and vegetarian lifestyle. Every form of life is honored, and eating and feasting are celebrated as sacred acts. Communal meals are central to social and spiritual life, reflecting the village’s emphasis on Athem harmony and respect for living beings.

Recent Political Activity

In the year 115 aS, the three main clans of Melting Village have united to protest against the industrial exploitation of Athem by the Settlers , particularly by the Alchemist's Guild . The clans successfully blocked multiple extraction sites, asserting their authority over the local resources and defending their spiritual and environmental traditions.
