Black Steps

The Black Steps technique allows Rhy Shen to vanish into the Ether and instantly move to a target location, leaving afterimages in his path. After a short duration, he returns to his original position. Enemies crossed or touched during the dash are marked by the void, reducing their defenses and weakening their Athem core.

Use

- Can be used for engagement, repositioning, or escape

- Crossing enemies applies stacking debuffs, increasing vulnerability to subsequent attacks

- Returning to the original location introduces tactical risk – careful timing is required

Combat Mechanics

• Range: Dependant on the cultivation level
• Duration at target location: 2–3 seconds before returning
• Cooldown: 10 seconds (scales with ability level)
• Targets: The number of enemies affected increases with ability level
• Effect: Marks enemies hit with Void Hammer stacks
• Synergy: Works with Rhy Shen’s passive and other active abilities
