Personal history
Leaf was born in the highlands of the Shard Cluster and grew up there, before moving to Gingerroot on Home for education at the Gingerroot House of Learning.
During her course, she joined the freshly founded Library Student Union at the Learning House, taking the roll of lead systems engineer in the construction of the Gingerroot Library. Shortly after construction was completed, she took the role of head librarian at the library.

Education
Leaf spent several years at the Gingerroot House of Learning, her main subjects being mechanical engineering, mystic studies and education. She was successful in all 3 of these subjects, excelling particularly with mechanical engineering, her research paper on pneumatic transport receiving multiple awards
