Chapter 2, Scene 1: Tomb of Seti, Prelude to 'The Auction'

Securing passage to the Tomb of Seti was no easy task. The dungeon rests in the innards of a gigantic Titan that roams the deserts of Athkatla. Most adventurer's attempt to do so by traveling through the harsh desert sands to reach the base of the giant, then climb up its foot to reach the lower entrance. But not Elrich and company. Leave it to the young scion of the Henry estate to arrive at the location in the most flashiest of ways. By securing teleportation from none other than the Golden Dragon, Merchant King of Athkatla itself, Alemset to the luxury resort tucked into the very top that very same Titan and dungeon. This is where the secretive 'Black Auction' was to be held, and it was here where the 3rd and final of the keys, as well as a special delivery, were expected to be secured by the party for 'The Collector' back in Baldur's Gate.

Having arrived without the extensive trouble and difficulty, the party found that were ahead of schedule for the auction. In order to further secure funding and resources for any unknowns that may pop up during the auction, the party attempted to explore the Tomb of Seti themselves, traveling down to one of the entrances and exploring for a bit. There, they encountered mimics, shadow fiends, and a pair of minotaurs. Unfortunantly, the foes proved too strong, and pushed the party into a hasty retreat.

Upon their return, the party finds that the resort has been upended by the gnome curator for the auction, who became affected by a cursed blade that filled hiim with murderous intent. They subdue the gnome and earn the thanks and patronage of the auction hosts for their efforts. As the party retires to their quarters for some much needed rest, Arcadia and Cass feel drawn to spend a bit more time in each others company, particularly after the multiple, life-threatening acts of the day.
