A jolly archfey fascinated by humanity and driven by joyful generosity, Santa has become a staple of winter celebration in many parts of the Realms.
Physical Description
Identifying Characteristics
Santa's hugs are warming to the soul as well as the body, and he always smells like a christmassy treat pleasant to the person smelling it, such as peppermint, hot cocoa, fresh oranges, or evergreen trees.
Special abilities
As an archfey, Santa posesses many sylvan powers. He can conjure gifts, music, and festive decoration. He can also control winter weather, causing snow to increase or let up, and can shape snow and ice by the same token. He also has a fey connection with his Helpers, such as they can always find their way to him and/or the North Pole if they need to. He also grants powers to the team of reindeer who pull his sleigh, allowing them flight and protection from some of the harsher environments of the Realms.

Santa's generosity is given freely and not as rewards/punishments, though especially villainous folks may find a lump of coal in their stockings and/or on their doorsteps instead.

Santa seeks to foster joyful generosity throughout the world. Since he understands that a degree of security and comfort is facilitative to joy in general, he has also been known to help (or send his helpers to assist) areas experiencing hardship in general.

Famously sweet-toothed, Santa's favourite snacks are cookies and hot cocoa.

Santa understands the value of a (welcome) surprise, and his fey nature often comes out in the mischievous nature by which he endeavours to disguise the nature of his gifts. His Helpers often have abilities such as invisibility and illusion-craft in service of the same.

Santa partners with many mortals and lesser fey, called his Helpers, granting them a share of his power to foster the spirit of joy and giving in the wider world. These Helpers always know the way to the nearest Fey Crossing and can connect directly to the North Pole through them.
